Low Cost Venturi Starter Kits
Our pneumatic systems use a small air venturi to create the vacuum required. The device is very simple and has no moving parts. You supply it with compressed air at one end and it sucks air in at the other. The main difference between this system and the electric systems is the air flow rate which is much lower However, if you are only using the system occasionally or are are mainly pressing small items our pneumatic kit is a very low cost way of starting out with vacuum pressing.

Professional Systems
All of our professional electric vacuum press kits are assembled from top quality components either made by us or manufactured by leading companies in their field such as Festo and Becker.

The electric vacuum pumps that we fit are designed to run continuously and so it is quite acceptable to leave a press running over night without fear of the motor overheating. You can also connect the system through a domestic timer plug allowing you set the pump to run unattended for a specified period.

All Professional systems are supplied with a footswitch to allow you have both hands free as the bag is being evacuated. Probably the most useful addition to the vacuum press in the last 10 years

Our hydromatic system works on a similar principle to the pneumatic one except that it uses the flow of water through a venturi rather than air to create the vacuum and achieves a remarkable 95% vacuum. Again the air flow rate isn't very high but is perfectly adequate for occasional use and most small work.

Electric Systems
MiniPress
Our new MiniPress systems set the standard for low cost electric vacuum pressing. This system is extremely quiet and is ideal for smaller curved and flat panel work and for marquetry.
