The trend towards incorporation curves into kitchen furniture is well established and vacuum pressing offers a cost effective way of producing curved components in short run quantities or even one offs. Whether you are making curved slab doors or constructing radiused shaker style doors a vacuum press makes the whole process easier, more accurate and therefore more cost effective.

Shopfitters
A vacuum press enables you to create curved components that are structural rather than being pinned back to a shaped framework. This can mean a dramatic simplification of the structure of items such as reception or cash desks and gives much more useable space underneath.

The size of panel that can be produced is limited only by the size of the bag that you have available. Standard sizes up to 1500mm x 4500mm are available from stock and other sizes are available to order.

Cabinet Makers
If you are a bespoke furniture or cabinet maker a vacuum press is a vital piece of equipment as it allows you to undertake laminating and veneering jobs that would otherwise be very time consuming or impossible. If you have limited space then remember that when a vacuum press isn't being used it rolls up and lives it a 100mm diameter tube and so takes up very little room. You can also use the vacuum pump assembly to power vacuum clamps or vacuum templates offering additional benefits from your investment.

Composite Manufacturing
Whilst our forté is in the use of vacuum pressing in the woodworking industry there are other highly developed markets for the technology such as boat building and other glass and carbon fibre composite manufacturing. Bagpress systems are being used to manufacture surf boards, skim boards, skateboards and parts of custom car body kits.
